What's the craziest design request you've ever received?

To design a birthday invitation for a dogs' birthday party. Was the invitation for other dogs? For humans who love the dog? IDK, I never asked.

What do you do when you get stuck creatively?

I tend to go for a walk, or a run, I try different routes so my landscape changes. I always come home refreshed and with new ideas.

If you could design a new emoji, what would it be?

One that represents being happy and confused at the same time.

What are the most common forms of gatekeeping you've observed?
How do you think we as a community could change them?

I think there is a lot of gatekeeping in work process, specially creatively. It feels like people are not honest about how much time it takes, and how much references you need to create things. Lots of creators I admire simplify this part of the designer life, and I think it should be told with all the ups and downs.

What's your greatest pain point in managing your business?

Selling my services confidently, because I'm insecure about the price I'm giving. I've been a freelancer for 4 years, and I still feel insecure that my work is not worth the price I give my clients, but then end up regretting not charging more, because I ended up doing extra work :(
